Summit
Learning Centre offers B.C. students and parents a flexible, personal instructional
program led by a qualified Distributed Learning teacher. Our teachers will
provide guidance in the selection of appropriate curriculum resources,
on-going assessment and evaluation of student progress, and a variety of
engaging and interesting activities for students learning at home. Your
child’s unique needs, interests and learning strengths are key components
in development of a Student Learning Plan for the year which will address
the B.C. Ministry of Education prescribed learning outcomes for their subject
and grade.
Note: applies to the majority of Summit students who are enrolled in Distributed Learning; note different criteria for those registered in Homeschooling. See Enrolment for more details.
We want to ensure you have all the information you require to make the best decisions for your child’s education. If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
