Programs

Summit Learning Centre offers B.C. students and parents a flexible, personal instructional program led by qualified distributed learning teachers. Our teachers will provide guidance in the selection of appropriate curriculum resources, on-going assessment and evaluation of student progress, and a variety of engaging and interesting activities for students learning at home.

Your child’s unique needs, interests and learning strengths are a key component in development of the Student Learning Plan for the year which will address the B.C. Ministry of Education prescribed learning outcomes for their subject and grade (applies to students enrolled in Distributed Learning; note different criteria for those registered in Homeschooling).

2010/11 Grad Planner available online!

The Grad Planner is a Ministry-produced document prepared for students entering the Graduation Program. The document outlines graduation requirements, means of getting graduation credit, and provides information about Graduation Program exams as well as funding post-secondary education. The Grad Planner also contains numerous links to websites with helpful information. The 2010/11 Grad Planner is now available on the Ministry website HERE
