Second Languages

All languages courses meet provincial learning outcomes, and they are even fun, too!

Our online program is a blend of technologies used to provide asynchronous learning that is enriched with culture and live language opportunities.

Auralog – Tell Me More is our online text for grades 5 through 12. This program aims to have the learners communicate on their own as they progress. In addition, students will have opportunities to attend virtual classes. Open School paper based courses are available for French and Spanish.

We also offer language learning opportunities through our ArtSmarts program and you may want to come and join in. These live workshops often involve elements of culture like games, songs and foods that make learning an authentic experience!

2010/11 Grad Planner available online!

The Grad Planner is a Ministry-produced document prepared for students entering the Graduation Program. The document outlines graduation requirements, means of getting graduation credit, and provides information about Graduation Program exams as well as funding post-secondary education. The Grad Planner also contains numerous links to websites with helpful information. The 2010/11 Grad Planner is now available on the Ministry website HERE
