Typical Application Requirements
Here's what you most often need in order to apply for scholarships and bursaries:
- A letter of introduction ( limit length to 1 page)
- An autobiography – a one page account that can be geared to the award’s criteria
- A resume – traditional formats are acceptable
- 2 letters of recommendation – one or both should be from outside school personnel
- An application form – this varies greatly from actual forms to application letters
- Volunteer records – a list of the organization or cause and hours/days spent
- Award or certificate records – a concise list of awards and when they were received
- Meet the application deadline – no exceptions are allowed!!!
